Welcome to Multi-Folds & Sliders Ltd.
UPVC Bifold Door Specialists
A conventional way of opening a room to your garden was to install a set of French Doors or a sliding patio door. There is nothing wrong with these doors but they do limit you to the amount of space you can actually pass through. Where as a Multi-Folds & Sliders UPVC Bifolding door we can manufacture and supply to you a door that will allow you to open up typically 85% of your opening. If you are lucky enough to have a room where you can accommodate a 6m wide door, then you can have a massive 5.1m opening that you can bring your garden into your home. Unfortunately most of us do not have this size available but even with smaller doors you still have around 85% of your opening to walk through.
All of our doors are tailor made to your exact specifications and are made using the Deceuninck Zendow Bifold door system. This system has been specifically designed to manufacture Bifold doors and by looking at them, you can tell in an instant that they give that all important “WOW” factor.
With our doors we can offer:
- A wide choice of styles of doors ranging from 2 door panels up to 7.
- Can be specified to open inward or outwards.
- A low threshold can be incorporated.
- Thermally efficient.
- 28mm glazing units.
- Compatible with Deceuninck windows, doors and conservatories.
- Doors can fold to the left, the right or a combination of both.
- Doors can be painted in any RAL colour
- Can be made in white, Rosewood, Golden Oak or select from a wide range of colours from the Deceuninck Deuctone Colour collection.
A bi-folding door fabricated by Deceuninck Ltd and tested by BSI met the requirements of BS 6375-1:2004 for Exposure Category 1200.
This British Standard a part of the BS 6375 series, specifies the exposure categories related to test pressure levels for air permeability, water tightness and wind resistance for external windows and doors. By achieving this classification, it stipulates that any door shall be suitable for any weather conditions within the British Isles.
Bifolding doors are not restricted to just houses and conservatories, but can look extremely attractive in the commercial sector. They can be used to separate function rooms, garage showrooms, restaurants, separating off a swimming pool... the possibilities are endless.
